Introduction
History
Morrvania was founded in troubled times by Morran Alorden, who became king of the small land area around the modern-day capital of Morrita. Over time, territory expanded, and with it the influence of the Kingship. In 1448, an attempted coup by Parliament resulted in its being stripped of any governing authority. In 1773, for the first time all landholders gained suffrage, electing Parliament and various local bodies. The leadership of the country is still dominated by the nobility, however. In WWI, Morrvania fought on the side of the Germans, but joined the Allies in WWII. In 2005, Daniel Malone became the fourth King of that name to rule.
