The Mount Bostopia Command Centre is located deep in Mount Bostopia, in the Mountain Zone of West Isle.

The command centre is used by Emperor Boston and others in times of war as a shelter from WMD, as the heavy doors, and natural protection of the mountain shields the highest ranking personnel in Bostopia from attack. Fort Boston Castle's B25 level also holds the same use.

While it's location is widely known, the exact co-ordinates of the base are unknown to all but a few, as widespread knowledge could lead to a direct hit. While the MBCC would likely survive one direct hit, many direct hits over a short period of time would likely penetrate the MBCC.

Functions

The MBCC's original function was a 'safe-house' for high-ranking Bostopian personnel, but now also incorporates many other functions.

It houses Bostopia's primary missile launch systems, and missiles can be fired from here and also Fort Boston Castle. Missiles can only be fired from here by the Emperor, or by the highest ranking official available present at times of war. As the Cheifs of the Air Force, Army and Navy all have offices here, which they work in on 'tours of duty', there is always one of these three available. This ensures that Bostopia can immediately retailiate against a strike anywhere in the country, and is doubly effective if the Emperor has been killed or seriously injured.

Also, MBCC personnel detect inbound missiles and, along with counterparts in the Military Zone, fire anti-missile weaponry. the MBCC also serves as Bostopia's 'eyes and ears' in the region, detecting all but a few military movements, keeps tabs on all satellites - military or otherwise, and also listens in on many radio broadcasts in other countries.

Security

The MBCC is divided by a series of 'zones'. Each zone is more secured than the next. Entry into zones requires a valid swipe card, the correct identification pass, and also a passcode.

Health

The MBCC recieves little outside air. This is incase of chemical attack, and this air is heavily filtered. Instead, the MBCC makes use of many machines created to convert carbon dioxide into oxygen, which is then piped round the MBCC. Those working in the MBCC are encouraged to bring in plants and trees into their offices.
