A former political party in the Ariddian Isles. The MDA existed only in Ariddia (the People’s Democratic Social Republic of), where it was the main opposition party; it was absent from the other two Ariddian states.
The party disbanded in 2118, prompting concern abroad that Ariddia was evolving (albeit through democratic means) into a one-party state.
Key ideas
The MDA advocated a return to a capitalistic system, and the legalisation of free enterprise, although some social laws would be maintained. It can no doubt best be termed right-of-centre.
