The Rogue Nation of Musikonia is a large, safe nation, renowned for its devotion to social welfare. Its compassionate, cynical population of 23 million are fiercely patriotic and enjoy great social equality; they tend to view other, more capitalist countries as somewhat immoral and corrupt.
The government -- a sprawling, bureaucracy-choked, socially-minded morass -- concentrates mainly on Social Welfare, although Education and Healthcare are on the agenda. The average income tax rate is 43%, but much higher for the wealthy. A small private sector is dominated by the Retail industry.
The government is seen to favor Catholics, political parties are banned from advertising and receiving private donations, gambling is outlawed, and all major public areas are watched by police surveillance cameras. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to a well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Musikonia's national animal is the Wolf, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the US Currency.
