Genral Information

The B'yor'o'b- of Naleloospalakintula is a massive, environmentally stunning nation, renowned for its complete absence of social welfare. Its compassionate, cynical population of 2.037 billion are ruled with an iron fist by the dictatorship government, which ensures that no-one outside the party gets too rich. In their personal lives, however, citizens are relatively unoppressed; it remains to be seen whether this is because the government genuinely cares about its people, or if it hasn't gotten around to stamping out civil rights yet.

History

It’s funny how Naleloospalakintula became a nation. It all started back in the 16th century when one of the last Viking tribes from northern Norway set sail to see if they could conquer any land where only Vikings were wanted, and no other tribe.

The Vikings sailed for weeks on end before ending up in Mexico. Here, they threatened the Aztecan civilization if they did not obey to the Vikings’ orders. To the Vikings surprise, the Aztecs said “We welcome Vikings!” and as you could expect, they all had a laugh (after several long bloody battles). The Vikings spent the week in the Aztecan city, celebrating the glorious dead of their armies.

Every year since then, the Aztecs would visit the Vikings in the summer, and the Vikings would visit the Aztecs in the winter, therefore, it is warm both times. But only 28 years of this tradition would the leaders of Aztecs, Moctezuma Xocoyotzin, and the leader of the Vikings, Vikarg, would make a brilliant plan. To join forces, and invade a nation to settle down in.

Later that year of 1506, a navy of 1000 ships set sail for the Briton-ruled ‘Nalelshire’. Of course, with the fury and aggressiveness of the Vikings and the cannibalism of the Aztecs, they won the battle with pure ease. They burnt down every building in the land, apart from one; the harbour of Finolok. They believed the harbour held too much beauty for it to be destroyed. The harbour still stands today, next to the newly built Mega-Harbour.

The Aztecs and Vikings soon decided a year later to breed. This would create the first Aztecking. Very rarely do you see pure Aztec or Viking families now, but all the while, the pride is still there.

Moctezuma Xocoyotzin and Vikarg renamed Nalelshire to Naleloospalakintula, which in Ancient Palan (Naleloospalakintulan language) means “Nalelshire was pretty for s**t”.

Every year, festivals are held on May 18th, the day the Aztecs and Vikings invaded Nalelshire, to create, the most beautiful country in Government, Naleloospalakintula. The holiday is called “Oos Nalel, Tula Nekup!” which means “Was Nalelshire, S**t Heads!”.

Demographics

The original settlers of Naleloospalakintula were the Palanese, tribal savages who have occupied the land since it has existed, up until the British takeover. The Palanese, who then called the land Nalu, only had a population of around 20,000. The Palanese only controlled the mainland as they had not discovered the boat or any other sea transport yet.

Then in 986, the British stormed the islands from overseas with a fierce navy who had transported foot soldiers and fire ships that would destroy coastal towns. Half the Palanese population had been wiped out, and the language Palanik (now Ancient Palan) was ceasing to exist as the Palanese, who were being kept as slaves, were forced to learn English. Palanese women were raped within British camps and then came the cross-breed of the Palish (Palanese-British). At the year of 1200, the then called Nalelshire; the island had an estimated 150,000 population; 110,000 British, 35,000 Palanese, and 5,000 Palish.

Nalu never had relations with foreign land but since it has been Nalelshire, technology has advanced and foreign relations are off to a start, and also gaining nearby island territories.

In 1505, the year before the joint Aztec/Viking invasion, a rough census was made it showed that 400,000 people were living on the island, and even though all citizens were considered British at this point, 300,000 were pure British, 75,000 were pure Palanese and 25,000 were Palish.

Ever since the Aztecken reign in 1506, the population has gone from 400,000 to more than 2 billion this present day. It is believed that nowadays, there are only 300 pure Palanese left in the land, and all British people were banned from the island. 125,000 are thought to be pure Viking, 175,000 pure Aztec and the rest being Azteckings, the cross-breed of the Aztec and Vikings. All Palish people were reconsidered as pure Palanese since the nation has been called Naleloospalakintula.

In Naleloospalakintula, it has 4 languages, 2 official and 2 unofficial.

The 2 official are English and Adamic. English is mainly used for foreign relations, to keep in contact, and Adamic is the domestic language, spoken throughout the nation. The 2 unofficial are Ancient Palan and Twattish. Ancient Palan being the oldest language of the lot, it is only used among the Palanese and on some signs throughout the nation to show Palanese heritage. Twattish is a sacred text used by Palanese monks.
