The Republic of Narwah is a proud democratic socialist state located in The Honor Guard region. It's relatively lax laws on immigration ensure a healthy cultural-diversity. In recient times however, relations with neighbouring nations have become strained, leaving Narwah iscolated.

For the past eighty years of its existance, Narwah was ruled as a monarchy but just reciently Ranos tec'Narwah formed the countries first new-age democratic government. Since the introduction of the democratic government, Narwah has taken a much more involved approach to international relations.

In April 2006, Narwah became one of the first to ratify the Persepolis Convention detailing the rules of war within The Honor Guard

The Major Cities

There are nineteen large cities in Narwah. Eighteen of these have names taken from the eighteen founding tribes of the nation, while the capital, Michrokhan, retains the name of the old tribal meeting place. (for more on the old tribes, see history). Of these nineteen cities, the importance of three stands out.

Michrokhan, the capital of Narwah, has stood as the centre of Narweighan politics for almost a thousand years. Even before that it was seen as a place of Narist worship for the native tribes of the land. Many of Narwah's economic and media companies have their main headquarters in the capital, leaving rush-hour traffic a nightmare at the best of times.

Neith and Rom'kal on the other hand are relatively new cities, growing up around their local industry. Neith is the major uranium mining city of the nation bringing in millions of lanashes per year, while Rom'kal grew up around its automobile manufacturing industry. Although uranium sales are at an all time low, Neith survives on grants from the government and hopes for the re-signing of the Naweighan-Herspegovan Mining-Defence Act to reopen a vital trade route between the two neighbours.
