Introduction
The NationStates Tennis Alliance is made up of a group of nations who volunteer to host tennis tournaments in NationStates.
Nations in the alliace host tournaments in rotation so that all will be given a fair chance to host. The cycle starts with the Red Dot Open, and the last nation in the cycle would be the latest member's tournament.
Any nation can host the tournament, but tournaments hosted by non-members may have little or no bearing on the ranks. Only after hosting the tournament, then they may consider joining the NSTA and membership is entirely voluntarily. Being in the alliance means that their tournament will have a heavier bearing on the ranks. They can reject joining and remain as non-members and may consider joining again after two cycles.
