Geographical Overview

The Dominion of Necros-Vacuia is an enormous tropical island in the Luclan Ocean, off the west coast of the TESC Exclusion Zone mainland. The only island nation in the Exclusion Zone, it's shaped in a rather deformed crescent with a jagged, rocky coast. At the center of the eastward end of the island arc is a massive shield volcano, the famed Mt. Inferno, known in Okhutaran as Y'kannathi. Necros-Vacuia sits atop massive deposits of near-pure uranium and titanium, although iron ore and mercury are also common metals.

The Dominion is a nation of vast cities and equally massive rainforests. Unlike almost anywhere else in the world, the rainforests and the cities seem to coexist rather well; this is because the rainforest is somewhat akin, here, to a fast-growing weed; if wiped out, it would readily return. The Dominion is mountainous in the west, and the northwest very hilly; otherwise, most of the island is quite level, aside of course from Mt. Inferno. The beaches are plentiful and very lovely, and the sole reason Necros-Vacuia has a tourist market.
