A moderately large collection of islands discovered by early European explorers in the Indian Ocean, they were overlooked because they had no resources or inhabitants. Now, half a century later, the islands are abudant with natural resources, abundant with fauna and flora, and inhabited by the Nedalian people. The people declared their independence as a soviergn nation in 2000, and the first president was named: President Bren. Very little is known about Nedalia or its people, but now that it has become a member of NationStates, surely an interesting history will be revealed and continue to be formed.
