A moderately large collection of islands discovered by early European explorers in the Indian Ocean off the coast of Africa, they were overlooked because they had no resources or inhabitants. Now, half a century later, the islands are abudant with natural resources, abundant with fauna and flora, and inhabited by the Nedalian people. The people declared their independence as a soviergn nation in 2000, and the first president was named: President Bren. Very little is known about Nedalia or its people, but now that it has become a member of NationStates, surely an interesting history will be revealed and continue to be formed.
