National Information

The nation of Negociando revolves around the Negociando Trading Consortium. It's official languange is that of the Portugese who founded the Consortium. Everyone who is a citizen of the Nation has a family member who works for the Consortium. All housing for the people is within the Space Station, which is a large ring, discovered by the Santa Francisco in AD 2356. The colony was established, and has grown slowly.

Government

Government

Though the Constitution of Negociando calls for a democratically elected President, he is little more than the voice of the people in policy making, as the CEO of NTC controls the country through his link with the workers. The Congress of Negociando set the policy for civilian life, though the CEo can decide wether or not he likes the policy.

Law Enforcement

The Federal Civilian Law Enforcement Service sometimes comes to blows with the corporation's Law Enforcement Teams, as there are places where the two lws do not come into accord.

Defense

The Government controls a small military whose job it is to defend the station, as the Consortium patrols the Lanes that they travel, and many of their ships are armed against possible Pirate Attacks.

Homeworld

Negociando
Nation: Negociando
Capital: Negociando City
Leader: CEO Pedro de Silva]

The homeworld of Negociando is an Installation built many years ago by an unknown group. Found abandoned and undeveloped, the Consortium moved in and developed a massive city on the surface of the world. The Capital City is located on the inside edge of the ring, and going deep within, using the massive amounts of underground tunnels as the basis for the massive and complex infastructure. Also, there are no walkways aboveground, as the underground tunnels connect every building. A large Light Rail system connects the city aboveground.

A large train, powered by powerful magnets, and loaded with G-Force Compensators connects the City of Negociando to it's smaller towns and settlements, and ultimately the Exile City, where the civilians who have no families working for the Consortium live.
