The Commonwealth of New Augustine is a nation controlling the entire Continent of Nova Augustino. The only country on the continent, it is steeped in its traditional Catholic and conservitave values. A former colony of Spain, the colony was used as a haven for Sicilian and Spanish laborers. When Spain dissented into civil war, New Augustine requested the support of the United Kingdom where it soon was granted a dominion status. Since then it has gain almost full independence and is envied throughout its region for its compulsary military service and its renowned space program.

Constitution
Upon granting of Commonwealth status the constitution was based on the Constitution of the United States granting basic freedoms to its people.
Parliament
The parliament is divided into three houses. The 100 member House of Commons (Lower House), which are elected every 2 years is chosen by the people of legal votang age of 18. The 50 member House of Lords ( Upper House), which is the only non elected position is given to the aristocracy. And finally the 100 member House of Deputies ( Middle House), which are chosen by the members of both the House of Commons and the House of Lords.
Economy
The Economy of New Augustine is focused on the manufacturing of Automobiles, Cheese Products form the prosperous dairy farms, Steel, and Arms manufacturing.
Natural Resources
Uranium, Lumber, Wood Products, Iron, Coal. Bauxite, Titanium, lead, sulphur, copper and Dilithium. Imports The only chief product imported is oil and cotton.
Society
The population of New Augustine is deeply rooted in its historic Catholic traditions. The people feel that there is an obligation to spiritual salvation even if it costs some political and civil freedoms. Same-Sex Marriages are out lawed as well as polygamy. The education is entirely private.
Culture
The cutlure of New Augustine is a unique blend of Spanish and British influences. The common people tend to be Spanish speaking while the elite have given in to using English as their official language. The official language used by the government is English, though the society is bilingual. There is a strict honor code where the population looks high on the people who give their lives for the sake of the country there fore there is littl;e problem with the fighting ability of the soldiers. Liston Armouries is the primary supplier to the New Augustinian military. The New Augustinian Air Force is world renown for having some of the most talented pilots.
Army
The Army is based on a mixed Draft and Volunteer, numbering around 7.3 Million The army is broken down into 2 Active Armies numbering around 2 million, led by Field Marshal Salgado and Field Marshal Rivera. Each Army is broken into 2 Corps headed by a General. Each Corps is broken into 5 divisions usually having 3 infantry and 1 cavalry and 1 armored. The reserves comprise of the rest of the 5.3 Million
Air Force
The New Augustinian Air Force is headed by Air Marshal 1st Class De Virgilio. The Air Force,comprised of 9 Major Commands led by an Air Marshal. Numbered Air Forces,led by an air Admiral. Wings,led by a Commander, which can be deployed indeffinate period of time. A wing has 4 groups, led by a lieutenant Commander, a Maintence, Support, Medical, and logistics. Each Group has at least 2 squadrons headed by a lieutenant. The pride and backbone is the A- 100 Saberdog. Thechnical Specifications are classified.
The Navy is headed by Fleet Admiral 1st Class Tunis and is comprised of 9 Nuclear Battleships and 4 Nuclear Carriers as well as 25 destroyers and 10 support vessles.
Space Corps
The New Augustinian Stellar Navy is the newest branch of the Minstry of War. And is headed by Fleet General DeMarco. The updated list will be available shortly.
