The Commonwealth is actually the small planet on the rim of the rim of the Andromeda Galaxy called Tarn Vedra.
The Military of the Commonwealth is the High Guard, although that is the case, officers and lancers are assigned here to the Vedran Home Guard of Tarn Vedra.
