The Kingdom of New Valhall is a massive, socially progressive nation, renowned for its punitive income tax rates. Its UN-ranking is pending back and forth between "Democratic Socialists" an "Inoffensive Centrist Democracy. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to a well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. It's national animal is the undead pig, and the currency is the balder.

History/Mythology
In New Valhall it is unclear which parts of the history-books are true and which are myths. The population believes in all of it, however.
Founding
In the year 600 AF, the undead pig named Sahrimnir and his companions found an empty land just east of Thingamajiggers. Sahrimnir decided to found a country there. He named it New Valhall after Valhalla, Sahrimnir's old home. Many humans moved there later.
Arrival of the Mercurians
A group of weird silver-coloured beings came to New Valhall. They were very peaceful and soon accepted into society.
Arrival of the Shokushi
Tentacled creatures came from space. At first they raped many human women to reproduce, but once they learned the Du-Hickazn-language, they started engaging in consensual sex.
Races
New Valhall is home to a number of different races. This is a list of the intelligent ones. All of them except humans have their own language but they communicate with each other by using Modern Du-Hickazn.
Humans
Just plain ordinary humans.
Evanians
The Evanians evolved from humans. The only difference is that they can become invisible.
Undead Pigs
This is the species that Sahrimnir belongs to. All of the undead pigs in New Valhall are his descendants. They speak a language called Oink.
Light ones
The first undead pigs were the lgiht ones. They are peaceful and friendly. They are about half the size of humans.
Dark ones
These evolved from the light ones. They are bigger, stronger and more aggressive.
Vingi
The Vingi look like humans with wings. They are often mistaken for angels. They are very beautiful.
Shokushi
The Shokushi are an alien race that came to New Valhall a while ago. They've got tentacles. There are no females among them, so they reproduce through mating with females of other races.
Mercurians
The Mercurians are said to be descendants of Mercury. They've got liquid, silver-coloured bodies. They are very intelligent and skillful magicians.
