The Dictatorship of Nintenduu 64 is a massive, safe nation, renowned for its complete absence of social welfare. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 1.727 billion are ruled with an iron fist by the corrupt, dictatorship government, which oppresses anyone who isn't on the board of a Fortune 500 company. Large corporations tend to be above the law, and use their financial clout to gain ever-increasing government benefits at the expense of the poor and unemployed.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt, moralistic government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Defence, Law & Order, and Commerce. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 35%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Uranium Mining industry, followed by Automobile Manufacturing and Arms Manufacturing.

All major public areas are watched by police surveillance cameras, Animal Liberationists are regularly jailed, punitive tariffs protect local industry, and scenic mountain valleys are flooded with water as damming projects get underway. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force. Nintenduu 64's national animal is the Terra Dolphin, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation.

Nintenduu 64 have a number of national heroes which include Shuya Nanahara and Shiori Kitano, Dictator Kitano's daughter, who protected the coastal fortress from IKBTY troops who were trying to capture the leader of the Wild Seven. In honour of Shuya Nanahara the mountains in the north were named Shuya mountains and the capital city was renamed to Nanhara Village, in which a large statue of him being protected by Shiori Kitano was built. In honour of Shiori Kitano a modern hospital with top equipment was created in the west of Nanhara Village. Once a year the citizens of Nintenduu 64 pay great respect to the pair with a march to the fortress in the morning and a large festival celebrating the pair in the evening.
