The Empire is the regime set up by Emperor Brakiss in replace of the Nojikan Senate. It consists of nearly two billion citizens, numerous colonies and 12 regional governments.

The Nojikan Senate ended after a period of countless domestic wars and political turmoil. At the height of this time, the Senate's Chancellor Brakiss declared himself Emperor. Thus, The Empire of Nojika was formed and the Emperor's oppressive rule began.

Overview

The Empire of Nojika is a massive, socially progressive nation, renowned for its barren, inhospitable landscape. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 1.875 billion are rabid consumers, partly through choice and partly because the government tells them to and dissenters tend to vanish from their homes at night.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt, pro-business government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Defence, Law & Order, and Social Equality. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 42%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Automobile Manufacturing, Gambling, and Arms Manufacturing industries.

Nojika's national animal is the Panther, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the Credit.
