The Capitalist Republic of Nomaadia
The Capitalist Republic of Nomaadia (CRN) has a very rich and powerful history. The nation was founded on the Ikybechian planes, on the main island of the region Aequitas. It is one of the oldest nation's of Aequitas, and is currently the VC nation of Aequitas.
History
Brief Nomaadian History
The Tribal Era
4000B.C.
First records, recorded in Ikybechian, in the Ikybeche Plains, the Native Ikybechians, during this, have small farms with irrigation, they hunt, and "ranchers" have small herds of goats, sheep, and cattle. Their are no bustling metropolises, just small tribes, that fight against other tribes. Their were a total of 3 different tribes-the Ikarians, who migrated from present day Skraalia, the Tamrielish, who lived southern coast of Nomaadia, the Chickmandu, who traveled from New Erebus and Invincii.
3500B.C.
The Chickmandu and Tamrielish begin to blend cultures, soon after, becoming one head tribe, the Tamriel-Chickmandu. Democracy is born, and a "Tribal Council" is made by the Tamriel-Chickmandu. During this time, as well, the religion of Aesccadian, which is the father of Jenquaidism, is being born.
1000B.C.
Warring clans from the unnavigated West invade Southern Nomaadia, the clans fight for about 100 years, but soon, form together. The clans introduce the ideals of an actual "nation" and so in about 100 more years, the nation of "Jenquai" will be formed, taking the name of the major religion.
The 1st National Era
800B.C.
Nation of Jenquai, is formed, it is an absolute monarchy, lead by a King, who is elected when the previous King dies.
0A.D. The civilized south decides to try to take over the north. The northern tribes of the Ikarians band together and create a nation as well-a war known as the "1st Nomaadic War" begins.
10A.D. The Nomaadic War ends, the south takes over the North- and the nation of Nomaadia is born (Nomaadia was the name of the ruler at that time- King Nomaadia IX)
188A.D. Nomaadia no longer is a Monarchy, it is now split up into Powers. A Council of 10, 2 from each state, come together to decide on resolutions. There is now a court system, which is made of a Judicial Council of 7, there are one of these for each major city. This year is also when the national capital is chosen, which is Tamriel City.
345A.D. Nomaadia becomes power hungry, and decides to take over all lands leading West-while they do that they destroy thousands of tribes and clans. The West is unsettled free land.
405A.D. Nomaadia is too large to have one centralized government, so the west disperses and becomes seperate colonies not owned by Nomaadia.
469A.D. Business is free, but soon-Libertarian Communism is introduced by Edgar Fitzgerald, an elected council member, he also introduces slavery of the last remaining Ikarians.
600A.D. Ikarians are killed off. Only 1/2 descendents are left-slavery ends. The Edgar Fitzgerald statue in Tamriel City is torn down by 1/2 blood descendents and others who despise him.
658A.D. Trade between other nations become more and more free. Caravans are going by the droves to Invincii, Skraalia, and New Erebus.
690A.D. Hans IV takes over Nomaadia in a major coup, and changes the name to Hans.
701A.D. A surplus of food is create; major specialization occurs and large cities are created. The first three large cities were: Tamriel City, Nomaad, and Hans IV.
The 2nd National Era
703A.D. National hero, Ghahanista, takes control of Nomaadia and peace is restored, he takes it by force, attacking major cities with an army known as the Neu Beisita, which is Nomaadian for New Way. Ghahanista changes the title "king" to "czar" He proclaims this day Ghahanista Day, or Seris Ghahanista.
721 Descendants of the Ikarians ask the government for land-and get it, the Ikarian nation is born. But it is still technically Nomaadian land.
755 Jenquaidism is established, and the Church of Igor-the Jenquai Mecca- is created in Nomaad.
1000 The millenium comes and Nomaadia celebrates.
1145 Exploration becomes a major staple of Nomaadia, they start exploring all over future-to-be Denado and Zema-claiming major portions of land.
1150 5 territories are established; 3 in Zema, and 2 in Denado. The territories of Ikybech, Neu Nomaadia, Ghahanista, Deballogue, Neu Seris.
1162 The territories of Ikybech and Deballogue are proclaimed rightful to outlanders known as the "Hitaro Clan" The "2nd Nomaadian War" is fought, with Nomaadia losing. Soon Nomaadia gives the Hitaro their land and sells the rest of land to merchants except for Neu Seris.
1200A.D. Instead each city having it's own military, a national military is established-simply known as the Nomaadian Combateers.
The Philosophical Era
1255A.D. The first college is set up in Tamriel City-the Bradford Institute.
1260A.D. Famous artist and thinker, Pablo Pinacle, publishes a collection of artworks and ideas-he soon after creates an art museum, he becomes a philanthropist and gives money to establish a national library.
1283A.D. The national library is established. The grounds where the Czar is, and where the national capital is are built.
1309A.D. The famous writer and philosopher, Pilates, becomes famous, he establishes an institute for the creative called Craetinni.
The Socialist Genesis Era
1699A.D. A coup happens and the entire government falls into the grasp of anarchy.
1710A.D. A political party known as the Libertarian Socialist Party comes into power and establishes a government. The new government calls for many civil rights, but land is not allowed to be owned, it is in turn owned by the government.
1765 The Libertarian Socialist Party disbands, because of size of the party, into two smaller parties, which have equal control over Nomaadia. The Democratic Communists, and Neo-Socialists.
1800 Political Machines arrive and plague the major cities. Major bosses make tons of millions of dollars.
1823 Politcal Reforms cause the political machines to disband, the nation becomes wealthier.
1875 Rise of inventions-such as the phonologue, the trans machine, and the gartuom, cause major production of money.
The Capitalist Era
1909-1912 The public, growing tired of all government being so rich, form the Populist Party, and overthrow the government. They tighten civil rights and let business be free to the public.
The Last Communist Era
1999 The former government is re-instituted.
2005 Czar Teratzo is assinated. Naples takes his place.
2005 Nomaadia enters the Great Aequitan War, on the side of the Dyelo separitists
The Neo Capitalist Era
2010 Nomaadia enters a new capitalistic reign.
Government
The Government of Aequitas has changed so much over the past few decades. Many a times it has switched between a Capitalist government, then back to a Communist. Political scientists believe that it will continue to fluctuate, just as the number of people do who believe in whichever side. Currently, a capitalist government is instated, though, it is very likely to change. Sometimes the government goes into total anarchy. Even one time, during the 1400's, the government was a total Gynarchy! (Govt. of women)
Current President
The current president is of course President Jonathan Stedford. A very large, powerful, and noble man. He himself killed the last Czar ever in Nomaadia, Czar Naples. Jonathan Stedford was born in the small town of Teratzo. He lived in a rural farming community and worked very hard every day saving up money. One day, he had saved enough money, he went to the bank and exchanged all his money he had earned into College Credit (Credit used to fund college) He attended Tamriel City's University, majoring in Political Science. Afterwards, he began part in rebellions against the government, soon after, joining the Capitalist Party of Nomaadia. Later in his life he staged a major coup against the government and won, and is now president.
