Non-humans

Races inhabiting the NationStates world other then humans are often referred to as "Non-humans".
Most predominant amongst these are the Elves but other races such as Orcs, Clangers, Dwarves, Catpeople and Lizardmen are also common; other races, typically extraterrestrial in origin, are only found in one or two nations, such as Sakkra, ZhuQaiya, C'tan, and other truly unusual sorts, like the minidragons found in Reploid Productions.
Non-humans are sometimes discriminated in predominantly human societies and they are occasionally persecuted. Several non-human nations have united in the Non-Human Union or NHU.
