Present day Okielahoma was settled around 5000 years ago by nomadic hunters from neighboring islands.. Theese hunters settled on the Red River, which runs through the heart of Okielahoma. The plains, lakes and forests gave these hunters shelter, water and most important of all, the buffalo. Around 3000 years ago it is estimeted that around 500 or so of these hunters (nearly 50%) were killed in a massive meteor shower. This meteor shower has created one of Okielahoma's most stuning natural phenomena, Crater Lakes and Crater Swamps. For the next hundred years there is nothing known about the history of Okielahoma, as no written records exist. In 1714 Okielahoma was incorporated as a Fmjphoenix state, which many people cheered. On February 13, 2005 with no oppistion from the Fmjphoenix government, the Oklahoman island declared itself independent. Initially Adam West II grabbed the reign of Emperor for only onw week until he was murdered by his own son. The nation has now plunged into civil war. Bennie Owen, who formally declared Okielahoma independant, leads one side, while the old government supported by West's other son is the other. No major fighting has occured yet but the nation holds its breath.
