Oststan is a large island south of The Zoogie People in the warm, sunny climate of the Isles of Arden. The country was founded by political refugees from the nation of Lashuga.

History

The nation of Oststan was founded by a group of three thousand political exiles from Lashuga. Near the end of Lashuga's history, a dictator rose to power who ruled over the lands with an iron fist. The man quickly separated Lashuga from the rest of the world. Instead, attempting to dictate (hence the Dictator title) all that his "pupepts" did for him. This, unsurprisingly, did not go over well with many of the citizens of Lashuga. And as such, the dictator threw them out of the country, sending them to an even farther south region of the Isles. A large, banana-looking island in the far south. Those three thousand refugees quickly built up a civilization in the port city of New Acton, where they began to trade with the likes of Alewares and The Zoogie People. The crushing news came one year into their new country, the mad, bi-polar, dictator of Lashuga, in an inebriated state, had launched three hundred nuclear war heads at his own country, effectively wiping it off the face of the planet. Suddenly a mass influx of survivors rushed to Oststan's shores. Raising their population to a mere five million. On March 18, 2007, they announced their sovereignty as a nation.

Oststan is anything but diverse, as the majority of the population came from the demise of Lashuga and share all the same ideals and thoughts. While only .003% come from other countries. Many of these immigrants are promptly murdered.
