History
PFK's founder was Fat Tony the Great, which was obsessed by commerce and national defence. PFK being Fat Tony's third nation to govern, people knew his intentions, observing how he governed Destroyou and Grosse Piasse, without any consideration for its people. PFK then decided to revolt with a socially minded Wacko at its head.
Wacko ruled the nation for about two months, imposing an income tax of 4% and causing several union strkes over the country without knowing why. Once again people revolted and overthrown the government to replace it by a group of libertarian individuals claiming Wacko was retarded.
The new governement made several changes such as moving the nation by helicopter from the South Pacific to Steelers, abolishing social welfare saying it creates parasites of the society and bringning back the income tax to 0%, but kept Wacko's civil rights ideas by improving them and Fat Tony's commerce ideas by focusing on a robust private sector made of cheese export, uranium mining and trout farming.
Although the new governement only brought properity to the nation, it could never stop the daily union strikes ravaging the country. In fact, some people tend to say it's become the national sport under Wacko, because he didn't react and strikers were having fun making grills and having ribs while on the streets.
After a long debate about uranium mining in the nation, the governement decided to allow moderate deforestation thinking the industry would create new jobs, which never actually happened and the poor Colonel Sanders didn't know where to hide anymore.
Then, the governement decided to ban bicyclits from major roads, to solve traffic problem, and to outlaw advertising for political parties and private donations to them, to prevent corruption.
After those dicussed decisions, Wacko took back the head of the governement with a 4 votes majority, raising again income to 4%, but higher for the wealthy. Economy got a little bad too.
Then, on the next election, an hybrid party, the PSLP, took power, decreasing government powers and bringing back economy on track, freeing businesses from suspicion. Corruption, due to extremist parties, also disapeared from the nation.
PLP got elected again and cuted all subsidies for special interest groups. Tax then fell back to 0% and coruption never came back. The nation is only getting better. New governemnt principal concern is to wipe out recent social welfare which Slim Tony brought in the nation. The country got also completely gun-free, in order to reduce violence related crimes.
Then, government decided that any law could be called on referenda if at least one third of the voters ask for one. All recraetional drugs suddenly got legal...
PFK got even more decentralized when the governemnt gave their autonomy to some regions, before the country moved by helicopter from Steelers to Aspen, Steelers suffering from a downfall.
Then, a well funded social safety net has been created to protect the unfortunate and strict term limits have been applied to all elected office.
Currency
When Fat Tony the Great first discovered PFK, he found innumerable monkeys in the nation's caves. Considering monkeys a better trade object to actual money, he decided to make it PFK's currency, naming it the King Kong as a symbol of power. Since then, trading companies stocks have never been that fun.
National Animal
PFK's national animal is the Colonel Sanders which once lived in armony with the King Kongs in the nation's caves. According to some people, its legs would taste just like chicken.

PSLP
The PFK's Socio-Liberal Party mix the best of both PLP and PSP. Still, it's not an alliance between the two parties, but only a non-extreme party. Its leader is Fat Tony's evil brother (as Fat Tony says) Slim Tony.
PLP
The PFK's Libertarian Party has no real leader, but is represented by a group of libertarian individuals. This party is PSP's principal opponent.

The PFK's Socialist Party is leaded by Wacko who keeps focusing on tax raising. Its principal concern is absolute civil rights...nothing else.

The Monkey Liberation Party is clearly anarchist, wanting to abolish monkey use as a currency and maybe abolish currency itself.

PCP
The PFK's Communist Party only actual political activity is criticising the system. Its members are also seen in strikes stealing ribs and giving them to the poor ones.
PNNP
The PFK's Neo-Nazi Party often organize secret reunions in PFK's famous caves. Fortunately, well trained Colonel Sanders report all their activities.
