History
The City of Porterdam was established when it was apart of Colonial-Era Segasaturn in 1908 to allow France to coordinate shipping throughout south-eastern Segasaturn. After Segasaturn won its Independence in 1978, the popluation grew and exploded, making it the country's third largest Port.
After the Great Segasaturnian Anarchist Revolution in 1992, It became the Porterdam Commune, and it was of the Anarchist Commune's main commercial centers. But after New Ronin recieved its independence in early 2004, neighboring Porterdam City and suburban area next to it became displeased with Segasaturn. Industries
Porterdam City has four main industries;
- Food processing & Production
- Electronics Manufacturing
- Oil Refining
- Shipping
They are all controlled by workers collectives like the People's Electronics Collective and the Porterdam Port Collective. They provide the People's Commune of New Ronin with fuel, self-manufactured food, electronic products, and imported raw matterials.
