Posul was founded at the beginning of 2004, by Andrew David Randolph O'Brien and since then has become a by word for fair play, Britishness and general good humour. He has held many notable positions, including Prime Minister of Great Britain and Ireland, Secretary-General of the ACCEL, Prime Minister of the Federal Commonwealth Society and Quaestor of the New Meritocracy.

Posul joined the region of Ceylon, a Dominion of Great Britain and Ireland (GB&I) to show his commitment to the Empire and to its goals.

Posul had been Prime Minister of the Federal Commonwealth Society for 6 months, before civil war gripped the region and after trying hard to revive it, he decided he would be better placed a region that suited his own more Imperialist needs.

Posul entered Parliament successfuly on his first entry back in September 2005, after being Head of Ambassadors in GB&I for a few weeks before. He was a active Member of Parliament (even today) and he fought hard to make sure that GB&I joined the ACCEL, which he had been a member of through the Federal Commonwealth Society before, and of which he was now Secretary of Administrative Affairs. He was appointed to Cabinet the next term as Colonial Secretary where the Empire reached 120 nations, and the City of London joined as well as Isaac City. He was then appointed Foreign Secretary for two weeks, as the former Minister Westmorlandia was unable to continue the role due to Real Life affairs. He was appointed Prime Minister in March 2006, where he worked hard to keep the region going during a period of inactivity. He was reelected the next term, and became the first Prime Minister ever to serve back to back terms. The region then hit 236 nations under his second term, though the Empire has since fallen away.

Posul entered the ACCEL with the FCS as Director in July 2005, where he soon become Undersecretary for Internal Relations. He was then elected Secretary for Internal Relations when Wegason left the post to become Chairman, and he worked hard to become Secretary-General in January 2006. He briefly resigned due to the Pacific Affair in July 2006, but has since returned the role. A widely respected figure in the ACCEL, he has used his activity and determination to help the cause of Capitalism, one which he keenly supports.

Posul joined the New Meritocracy in Feburary 2006, where he had been serving as Ambassador for GB&I for a month. A little after two weeks, he was made Magister Ludi by then Consul Cortath, which though unsuccesful proved his vigour and determination in the role. He was then made Aedile, when his predecessor Greater Soigacas decided to call it a day (later to become Consul) he was very successful making InterMet the largest NS news organisation and also starting the audio fad, which he still leads with his well respected "Posul Show." He has since been elected Quaestor, a role which he has actively worked hard at, and continues to do so.

Posul has recieved many awards in GB&I, being a Commander of the British Empire, Knight Commander of the British Empire and now Knight of the Most Noble Order of the Garter all for his services to the region.
