Introduction

The Armed Republic of Pratyaksha was established on June 6th 2006 by a group of young pioneers in search of a haven for atheistic libertarians. Highly motivated and economically resourceful, some naive errors on the part of the founders caused the birth of Pratyaksha to be tumultuous. Vastu Anexas, one of the pioneers and the current President, suggested the region of India to be the home of this atheist experiment as India had the oldest school of atheism, known as Charvaka or Lokayata philosophy. However upon arrival in India and a regional tour of the entire subcontinent, the pioneers found themselves to be the target of a lukewarm response from the hapless inhabitants, a smear campaign from the media (being termed as "a bunch of immoral liberal opportunists" by the region's biggest newspaper The Statesman, and death threat upon fatwahs from the region's giant Hindu nationalist and Islamic fundamentalist blocks.

Following this dismal picture from the motherland of atheistic dharma, the highly zealous pioneers showed signs of pessimism. However not to be deterred, the group (now calling themselves Pratyaksha, which in Sanskrit means "physical truth") were enlightened about a certain ocean-inhabitation technology that had been perfected by a certain entreprenaur named Jennifer Nationstates. This technology had allowed the spawning of millions of new nations in the North, South, East and West Pacific. Seeing that the Indian ocean region had hardly been colonized, Pratyaksha immediately laid claim over a lotus-like area just north-west of the Australian coastline.

Hailed as "Israel of Atheists, Libertarians and Anarchists", the Armed Republic of Pratyaksha soon started attracting millions of immigrants worldwide. The population increases daily, and the number of natural born Pratyakshan citizens are far outnumbered by the daily inflow of refugees. According to the United Nations survey, its government usually ranges between "Anarchy" and "Corporate Bordello". Hereditary merit is considered an integral truth to the Pratyakshan, and recognition of the natural purpose of procreation and survival has allowed for a culture of unprotected sex in public places. Despite this social endorsement and encouragement of heterosexuality, Homosexuals and all other minorities (officially termed as Deviant Indulgent Behaviorists, a list that includes those that enjoy beastiality, BDSM, alcohol abuse, marijuana use, etc) enjoy the greatest of standards and rights.

Unique to Pratyaksha is the absolute lack of the Judiciary. Values and morals are considered a personal matter, and the enforcement of morality can only be done by the individual and his/her gun. The government does however see to it that the parties to a contract keep to their word, because although the Bible is obsolete, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" is not.
