Due to the 'Christian Reawakening' in Europe a massive amount of Orthodox Christians travelled to 'Istanbul' and lived after awhile the population outweigh the local Turkish population.
When WWIII broke out Turkey joined the losing side and was heavily weakened and when the Greeks in Istanbul wanted the UN to re-create the Byzantine Nation there was little the Turks could do.
The UN discided to give the Orthodox Population both a City and country and passed a resolution which would remake the old Eastern Roman Empire or 'Byzantine'.
The Byzantine Monarch has come from the Royal Family of Socal8 which was a Orthodox nation.
The Empire is large, and multiple Eastern Campaigns have brought a power presence to Islamic lands. Also the anexxion of Italy has made Reborn Byzantine as it can be called truely 'Roman'.
They are also seem to be preparing for war since they have purchased 70 new tanks and are preparing the construction of multiple new Battleships.

Legions and there Numbers and Equipment 1st Legion-SA80 is the standard rifle,300 AAV-7A1,30 Brandt 60mm LR Gun-mortar
1st Legion was put together in the early days of the Empire to fight fast and fierce and they focus more on mobility then Brute Strength, Problem is the Legion is so lightly armed for this mobility that it's suicide to send it to any high risk area without other forms of support. 2nd Legion-SA80 is the standard rifle,1000 M230 Chain Gun,700 CV90,600 Leopard 1A6
2nd Legion is the Iron Fist and is made to smash into Enemy Strongpoints, it's lacks mobility but makes up for it in massive firepower these are the first ones to enter the battle. Problem is this Legion lacks speed and is weak to Air Support and such.
3rd Legion-SA80 is the Standard Rifle and is being Equip with Anti-Aircraft and Tanks
3rd Legion is ment to be a mix but it is being trained and suited up still and is weak to a attack.
There are Multiple small forts that hold about 50 troops each (not great but they good for small things) they are equiped with Armoured Cars and Light tank support
The Byzantine Navy has about 2 fleets taken from all the nations they have conquered. Main fleet is stationed at Crete to protect it againts the ever watching powers of the west Another Fleet is at the Port of Burgaz (In Ex-Bulgaria) to stop Russia from getting any 'ideas'

The head of state is Currently Emperor Leopold, Who is incharge of a Government consisting of over 200 Senators from all over the Empire.
These Senators come from all over the Empire, At the moment they are very Cetralist leaning Right.
