Government

The Government consists of three bodies. Federal, Provincial and Gradintial(Municipal). The Federal government is led by President Adrijana Jasic. The Presidential position is a single-party democracy ruled by the Socialist Democratic Party of Yugoslavia. Unlike other nations, the Federal Government also consists of The House of Elders. In this house there is a multi-party democracy where citizens vote for their representatives (Elders). The leader of the house is also the Praetor (Prime Minister) and this position rotates every 5 years with new elections. The Praetors job is to run the country, but for laws to pass, they must be brought to the President. Provincial Government is organized in the same way as the House of Elders, but the provincial government also includes the Senate. Nations united under the Yugoslav government have their own say and rules at the Parliamentary level. Gradintial level are mayors and citizens.

  • House of Elders: 4,780 seats
    • House of State: 350-600 seats (depending on population)
      • The Senate: 200 seats (Senator's rotate positions every 10yrs)

Military

On Oct 20, 2058 the Reformed Yugoslavia House of Elders passed a bill, making Yugoslavia the regions first de-militarized nation in the name of peace. All military personell have been placed on leave until called on and all military equipment has been stored away and will only be used in emergencies. In case of war, reserve defence operations will commence in retaliation and the UN nations will send troops immidietly to defend the nation.

Religion

  • 39% Atheist
  • 28% Muslim
  • 12% Roman Catholic
  • 13% Orthodox
  • 4% Buddhist
  • 2.2% Ancient Greek
  • 1.8% Other

Reformed Yugoslavia has scrapped an official religion. This is due to the overwhelming ethnic tensions that have caused previous civil wars. To prevent this in the future, all religions are seen as equals.

History

Revolutionary War in Union

The Federation of Reformed Yugoslavia (Federacija od Reformachke Jugoslavie) is a massive,:safe nation, notable for its punitive income tax rates. Its compassionate, hard-working, intelligent population of 1.013 billion enjoy extensive civil freedoms, particularly in social issues, while corporate giants are highly frowned upon.

Reformed Yugoslavia in 2003 was divided into seperate nations. Bosnia-Hercegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Slovenia, Serbia-Montenegro, Albania and Austria had their own seperate governments, but times were bad and many were unemployed and homeless. All the problems of 2003 were caused by the breakup of the Yugoslav republic in 1992, and by the Serbian offensive on both Bosnia and Croatia. During this conflict Damiritrov Jasic escaped to Canada. In 2000 he came back to Bosnia and in 2003 became the President of Bosnia-Hercegovina. Missing his old nation of Yugoslavia, Damiritrov forged a document that stunned the world. This document would unite the broken nations again, it was his dream to build a better life for his people and many Yugoslavs knew and wanted that. The document became known as Tito's Dream and all nations except Serbia signed. The new nation became known as The Old Dalmatic Republic, and because of Austria's close ties with the union do to its previous Austro-Hungarian Empire it joined the Union as well and a coup de e'tat in Albania included its signiture too. In 2006, the Old Dalmatic Republic declared itself a Socialist state and changed its name to The New Yugoslavia. Soon, corporate CEO's and other capitalists started staging protests and in Serbia, pro-communists already started fighting the government. Soon a civil war broke out in both countries. But in New Yugoslavia the rebellion only lasted 2 months. In Serbia it continued to 2008, where pro-communist forces stormed the Serbian Parliament and executed the Prime Minister.

By late 2008, the new Serbian Regime began restructuring its government, removed corruption and improved the living standards significantly and by 2010 it joined The New Yugoslavia. A month later The New Yugoslavia became the Federation of Reformed Yugoslavia and adopted a Titoist doctrine to the constitution.

In the same year The Adriatic Gulf War stopped and a cease fire was made with the Republic of Vetrone.During the 2 year conflict (2006-2008) Reformed Yugoslavia became a nuclear power and had the regions most advanced military technology. Today Reformed Yugoslavia is a modern nation with Excellent political freedoms, security, human rights, civil rights and leads the world in supplying financial aid to third world countries. Its handeling of the government and its Titoist/Socialist beliefs is a perfect example of Communism that is by the people for the people.

Between 2061-2110 almost all records of Reformed Yugoslavia were lost due to civil war. As of 2111 Reformed Yugoslavia has ceased to exist and The Empire of Illyirium has taken its place.

Politics

The Federation of Reformed Yugoslavia is very active in the international scene. Yugoslavia has taken a neutral position almost in all aspects of politics, from war to regional debates. Unfortunately Yugoslavia is changing its attitude towards international organizations. Currently there is a debate about resigning from the United Nations.

  • Reasons:
    • Bills and Proposals pass, no matter how insignificant or unintelligent they are.
      • Ex. A Bill banning cows passes 7,000 to 1. Next day, A bill passes promoting cows 7,000 to 1.
    • Nations do not take much interest, infact nations vote without reading.
    • In the regional area, The Federation of Yugoslavia cannot legally become a UN Delegate, as stated in the Adriatic Gulf War Armistice Agreement.

Yugoslavia for a while was trying to promote peace and security, but instead, paid high consequences and further demoralized Adriatic Dalmatia.

Tried to Accomplish:

  • United Currency: The Adriatica
  • Reform in elections for UN Delegate to take every month.
  • Peace between nations.
  • Sharing of resources.
  • Decreasing Nuclear arsenals.
  • Increasing communication between nations.

Things Achieved:

  • Elections take place for a new UN Delegate at the end of every month.

Consequences of attempted Goals:

  • The Empire of Vetrone declared Economic Embargo on The Soviet Commonwealth of Enrosol.
  • Continuous Bombings of Enrosol by the Empire of Vetrone
  • Hostilities by Empire of Vetrone forced the dismemberment of The Dominion of Cyrakhistan
  • Hostilities by Empire of Vetrone forced the dismemberment of Mountainwater
  • Hostilities between Empire of Vetrone and The Federation of Yugoslavia led to a regional coup de e'tat by Da Kingz of Crunk
  • Nuclear arsenals increased.

Reformed Yugoslavia is working very hard to establish trust and friendship within the region, but currently it is very difficult.

Non-Aligned Movement

The Federation of Reformed Yugoslavia founded the Non-Aligned Movement. For more information, visit the alliances page or click on link.
