Although for the longest time the government used to be a democracy it has slowly been drifting toward capitalizm and corporationalism, (an outline of the old government con be found here: [[Riegaban Government (old)]], there are mainly three branches of government, the legislative branch, the executive branch, and the judiciary branch. The legislative branch is bicameral and is comprised of the lower house which is made up of small businesses and the upper house is made up of representatives from the actual populace of the nation. The executive branch is made up of a board of CROs or Chief Representative Officers, they meet and discuss matters much like executives in most nations do with their ministers or secretaries. Finaly the juducuary branch, it is a bit more complicated than the others and will be explained in deatail in the official government page but what can be said is that they are appointed from a regular pool of magistrates and are appointed by the legislative branch and are approved by the executive branch.

Either the House of Commons or the Senate proposes an idea for a law, then the other house approves it with a majority vote, if they don't it is sent back with changes, this prosses continues untill a final draft can be agreed on, or after so much alloted time the issue is droped. If it is agreed on it goes to the Justice Branch, they judge weather it is constitutional or not, if not it goes back for rewriting. Again if it passes it goes to the Chancellory if it is passed by the Grand Ministry it will become a law, if it is rejected it can go back to the legislative branch for a vote, in this case it's not a majority win, it takes over 66% (2/3) vote to pass it into a law even though the Chancellery disaproved it.<br>

The House of Personal Representatives or the HPR is the lower house and is comprised of normal citizens but insted of voting for these positions there is a lotto drawn this way everyone eventuly must serve their country in some way. This also is the reason for our incredible educational system. There are at anytime three Personal Representatives or PRs from every district in the nation. Since there are eleven districs there are thirty three PRs in the house. PRs are elected every other year.

The Executive Office is the building of residence and work for the Chancellor and his vice. In this building is also the Advisory Council Chamber, this is where all Advisory Council meetings are held. Both the Chancellor and his vice are elected, the Chancellor is elected 100% by the people of Riegab. However the Vice Chancellor is voted on by the Legislative Brach to avoid the Chancellor from just picking a freind to run with.<br><br>

The board meets every so often to discuss issues of foreign policy, and issues of domestics, anything from transportation to education. The Legislative Branch of Riegab is bicameral, the lower house, the House of Commons is elected 100% by the people of [[Riegab]], however the upper house, the Senate is elected by the people in the House of Commons, this truly shows that everyone is elected by the people. The Capitol Building is located on the waterfront in [[Ethnemka]]. It sits directly adjacent to the Chancellery which is located accross the street, this way the Chancellor can easily attend sessions as an observer, also observers from other nations as well as the occasional school class are welcome to watch, this is why we have spots for translators in each hall, in the senate hall they are located on the tiers, and in the house of commons hall they are located in the booths toward the front of the hall, as seen in the pictures below.<br><br>

The Chancellor is meant to be the head person, he is the person whom controls the meetings, the vice takes over when the chancellor is not there. The general-in-command is a general from the military and he advises the group on wars and various military matters. The minister of commerce is a CRO from a regular company but is voted on by the populace every four years from the pool of CROs from every company, the current one is from [[Smith & Deiters]]. Both affairs ministers are used to inform the group on tensions in and out of the nation. The intelligence minister is the head of the intelligence ministry. the minister of [[Novoi Vechnosti]] is from Riegab's neighbor to the south. and the minister of treasury is someone from the public which has a degree in economics and who distributes the budget to diferent sectors.

In the Senate, the speaker is elected by the Senate itself, the Speaker of the Senate is called the "Aurea Minister" (Gold Minister). He directs all actions taken place in the Senate. The Senate is comprised of 110 Senators, 10 from each of Riegabs nine districs (Chetinop, Eager, Falsherm, Fedumt, Ghustomet, Kagemshlefer, Morze, and Thrasea), 10 from [[Nova Latium]] Riegabs puppet to the south, and 10 from Lazhefu SAR. The Judiciary Branch is comprised of not only the Grand Council of Magistates (the highest court in Anatania) but also is comprised of a Counil of Magistrates, the highest level in each zone, as well as local councils for small disputes. The national police force is also considered to be in this branch. The Grand Magistrates or GMs are appointed by the legislative branch with approval from the board of CROs, and are chosen from the current regular magistrate, which are voted on by polls in each zone.

In this house, the Speaker of the House is elected again by the House itself, the Speaker is called the "Prime Minister" (Top Minister). The House of Commons is comprised of 440 Commoners, 40 from each district, 40 from Nova Latium and 40 from Lazhefu SAR.<br>
