Smith & Deiters

Smith & Deiters Inc. (Sumiti & Daiterusi in Rigavie Sutanio) is the largest and probably most powerful corporation in Riegab. They are split up into four main sectors, mining, auto production, building construction, and a random hodgepodge of techs called the research branch. Their main offices are located at Smith & Deiters Tower in Ethnemka.

History

Smith & Deiters started life as a small arms producing company named Riegab Inc., it was formed to help defend Riegab from the Anatanians, but after the assassination of Emperor Shlotsnok they felt that Anatania would be of no threat, and would help them, later this would come true, but with a price, Anatania would gain control of the nation.

During this time they had to stop producing weapons or face sure destruction by the government. So they started producing emergency vehicle in their old shops. Later the government would decide to cut all supplies of resources to them, therefore they started the mining portion of this company.

Later soon before the Anatanians left, two entreprenuering friends from Bratsnom would start a small arms shop of their own to aid The Order of Riegab in their fight of Anatania, although no Anatanian were killed it threatened them enough to leave. Later they would offer to buy the small operation of Riegab Inc., they succeded and would rename the company to Smith & Deiters (Sumiti & Deiterusi), they were Anudurevi M. Schmidt, and Mikeili P. Deiters. (Note the name differences, this is because they were both parents of immigrants that had come from Germany)

During WWII Smith & Deiters would expand to produce aircraft and also ships, this has since ceased, yet the dry docks and aircraft facilities have been bought by Navi Inc. and are producing to full capacity still today.

Although they were under no threat from Anatania they still decided to produce what the company knew best, emergency vehicles and the mining of anything from Titanium to Uranium or even Diamonds. Eventualy they would spread to other areas as demands rose in the country.

SMR is based in the nation of Novoi Vechnosti under an accord by their government that allow Riegab, and only Riegab to mine in their mountains.

SMA's main plant is located in Bratsnom and a smaller plant is also located in Proskare.

Below is a list of current projects being worked on by SMR, next to each is also a basic description of the project. Sensitive undisclosed information will be listed in parenthesies.

• AISIS:

AISIS or Artificial Integrated Sentient Intelligence System, will work off of a system that is first loaded with litteraly trillions of bytes at approxametly 54 TB, this information is, for this model, every known book to man, every known language to man, even ideas of dialect and accents, and also the semantics behind them. This is also full of technology for the learning and understanding human emotions. Since the system is still in training it is unknown how large the hard drive has grown, it is estimated at 436 TB and still growing.

• Logic and Semantics Based, w/ Applied Learning:

This program is only in use in the AISIS program as of now. The Logic and Semantics Base w/ Applied Leraning means that, simply, the subject learns by using logic to, through activities and expirience, learn about a specific subject. (Also as we call it, Integrated Learning Deficiancies, are made so that the subject can't be swayed by anti Riegaban, or for that matter the programmer's, ideology, mainly it will not kill, it cannot be commanded at all to kill, it can only pretect itself, if this involves killing than it will, albeit so, it cannot be contracted to fight in an army, as such we plan to implement them as support for tasks in the army. With the ILD also comes an option to install, on the fly, a program that can deny it from gaining any rationale with anyone that the user deems to be an enemy, again, as such, only the government will has access to this system, being used primarily for spies. Later on we plan to allow foreign governments the oppurtunity to purchase this program, with of course the standard denial software, denying it the ability to attack it's maker, Riegab. Also, for the civilian models, this software will not even be permitted to be loaded by hard coding a denial system that will make the system reject the program.)
