The Founding
The Empire of Romanni Nova is not very old, but has already developed an interesting history. Founded in the year 1616 after some Milanese and Portuguese found a strange land(that was already occupied by Spoonmenistan, Mattalatastan, Kirastor and Guahawan and Forkania). They tried to return to Milan and Portugal but they where stranded and with no hope of returning to their homeland, they decided to colonise the area.

In a quick war to control the area the Milanese unexpectedly attacked the main Portugese army at the battle of the Corin river(the title given to it by the natives). Led by the Italian leader Giovanii they won the bloody battle causing the survivng Portugese to surrended quickly. Giovanii changed his name to Nero and became the Imperator(Emporor).
