Introduction
The Most Serene Republic of Rosarana is a peaceful, mountainous island nation in the region of Bookcrossing. Rosarana is a colder climate country with beautiful countryside, and many flower gardens. The national animal is the Lady Bird, which eats the symbolic aphids of warfare, preventing them from attacking the rose bushes.
The Capital City of Rosarana is Rose Bush. It is here, where the Parliament sits, and where the leader of Rosarana, Plucky, has her residence.
History
The Most Serene Republic of Roasarna was officially formed on 9th Januray 2005. Before this day, the nation was a colony of Denmark - settled in about 1683. Calls for independence started in the mid- 1990s and through peaceful negotiations with Denmark, was procured in early 2005. Independence Day is celebrated on 9th of January, without fireworks, as they are all used up to celebrate New Years Day.
Rosarana's first president was/is President Plucky. Plucky studied at the Rosaran National University in Rose Bush, the capital. She became one of the key negotiators in the independence of Rosarana. She took up the office of President on 9th January 2005. The National
Rosarana became a UN Member on 11 January 2005.
