Samarnia is a large island located close to the eastern border of The Second Realms. It has three major rivers and a mountain range in the north. The capital is Ankodion, population 15 million.
Early history
Samarnia was settled approximatley 3000 BC by a tribe of Egyptian nomads. They accidentally travelled to The Second Realms and didn't know how to get back, and created a colony on the large island they named Yolguni. The tribe developed and grew larger. They created an enlightened civillisation and were flourishing on the island by 100 AD. They had three large cities and a large gold-mining industry in the mountains to the north. In 554 AD the Age of The Great Explorers begun.
The Age of The Great Explorers
In 554 AD the explorer Jibbo Gorden sailed westwards and was lost forever. However 15 years later his son Jibbo Gorden II sailed in the same direction and discovered the land of Medicalis, when suddenly his ship were attacked by an army of vicious drop bears and only Jibbo survived.
