The Dictatorship of Scytherus is a very large, safe nation, notable for its strong anti-business politics. Its hard-nosed, cynical population of 67 million are ruled without fear or favor by a psychotic dictator, who outlaws just about everything and refers to the populace as "my little playthings."
It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt, moralistic, socially-minded government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Defence, and Commerce. The average income tax rate is 68%, and even higher for the wealthy. Private enterprise is illegal, but for those in the know there is a slick and highly efficient black market in Automobile Manufacturing.
All guns must be registered, the people are famous throughout the region for their bleached-white teeth, the words 'private' and 'enterprise' must never appear in the same sentence, and the nation is completely gun-free. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force. Scytherus's national animal is the serpent and its currency is the sickle.

History
It all started one time, with one man, in one dreaded land. Kafajo O' Jafak was a leader of a small, secluded nation. He thought that an authoritarian communist government would be the ultimate solution to all problems. O' Jafak was quite unpopular with the other politicians, and so, Kafajo fled his home country, and started a nation based on his ideals. He started a colony on the barren dark side of the Moon.
Politics
Scytherus is like something right out of a novel by George Orwell. Kafajo O' Jafak has policemen scout the streets of Scytherus and report to him what they see. Nobody can run or hide from O' Jafak's all-seeing eyes. Few Sytherians know what freedom is. None of them have it. Simple rights are denied by the insane dictator. Sickles, the offical currency of Scytherus, are handed out by the government, sporadically.
Scytherus has pro-life policies, because the more Scytherians alive, the more Scytherians O' Jafak can mess with. They have no qualms against the death penalty, because O' Jafak is a sadistic maniac who enjoys watching criminals get their "just desserts".
