Second Ambaran War

Properly speaking, the Second Ambaran War was the invasion of Marlund by the Resurgent Dream following the bombing of Armonvale by terrorists supported by that nation. Strictly speaking, this conflict ended when the dictatorial regime then reigning in Marlund was dissolved and replaced by a constitutional monarchy. Informally, the term also refers to the ongoing military efforts of the new democratic government of Marlund, the Resurgent Dream, Adoki, Excalbia and Pantocratoria to maintain this new government in power and to suppress rebellion by the fascist Sons of the Reformation, loyalists to the old regime, and Marxist-Leninist revolutionaries.
