The United Sephrite Empire of Sephrioth is a massive and economically powerful nation, remarkable for its punitive income tax rates. Its hard-nosed population of 4 + billion are fiercely patriotic and enjoy great social equality; they tend to view other, more capitalist countries as somewhat immoral and corrupt.
It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, socially-minded government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Defence, Law & Order, and Education. The average income tax rate is 100%. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Arms Manufacturing industry.

- Sephrion Arms Tech
A branch of Arms Tech is the Bio-Hazard Containment Service. Founded in 3401, its main responsibility is to deal with rogue bioweapons and viral weapon containment.
They have twelve battle barges and 1,000,000 personnel.
A typical battle barge is organised as follows and is usually commanded by a 12 star Field Aquilla.
They have 10 smaller ships called Assault Carriers which can make planetary landings. Each assault carrier has 4 ground vehicles called War Raiders with a 400mm cannon, phaser gatling guns and two photon rocket launchers. They can carry 40 personnel each.
Assault carriers also have flying versions of these vehicles called Air Raiders and Assault Raiders. Assault Raiders also have access to cluster anti-matter (AM) bombs in addition to their normal weaponry.
Assault raiders are a bomber / air assault vehicle; they have slightly lighter weapons systems than their land based cousins but they all have phaser gatlings and more photon rocket launchers.
The two viral weapons they have access to are the TZ virus and the Doom of the Living virus, and they usually clean up the mess they leave behind after they are deployed.
