Simming is a term in the Sports roleplaying community for the generation of results, which are either not official or domestic. Both usages imply that you can re-sim as often as you like. The reasons for a sim are
- testing of the scorinator
- calculating probabilities
- creating a domestic league
The maybe most remembered sim was done by Kaze Progressa for the World Cup 12 final. It ended in a 7:0 victory and was declared to be only a sim due to the unreasonably high score.
Superstitious people dislike test sims before the actual scorination because they make luck run out.
