Smorgg is a veritable wasteland, home to the most vile scum on the planet, Bandits to the North, heartless corperations in the middle and fiendish terrorists to the South, all of them struggle for power but face death at the hands of Smorgg.

History

territory of Smorgg has always been an arid land, trapped between a volcanic mountain range and a virtually dry desert, the first settlers had the land divided into hundreds of nations, each one for himself and for himself he did go, the absolute selfishness of the founding nations makes clear the reasons behind the later factions.

After the initial colonisation died down due to everyones realisation of the poor ground those left behind began to settle into communities, and for a while the people were fine, without a mass influx of people resources could be shared out evenly creating a civil diplomatic community lasting for years.

When the people of Smorgg found deposits of Clay, Diamond, Lime and other precious materials in the midlands the nation suddenly found itself once again at the mercy of migration, the primary sources of food were immediatly reserved for the rich North who claimed that they needed it more and would pay amply for it, this led the Northern farmers to raise prices on foodstuffs forcing the Southern Desert people into an easily avoidable famine.

The famine raged on as more people moved North hoping to break into the mineral or livestock market, both ventures slowly dried up as the bigger more established businesses muscled out the smaller Desert companies, bitter and angry several company owners took up a practice of physically sabotaging the bigger rivals, through many years of trial they found the mountains to be the best place to strike and soon the Bandit kingdoms grew.

The Bandit factions were so powerful that villages submitted to the rule of them, the livestock industry fell to Bandit control and suddenly the Rich found themselves without food, they now were forced to live as the Desert people had been, each and every scrap was fought over as companies split into families attempting to gain food, wealth and land, this was the beggining of the end as the land fell into anarchy.

Viktor Romanov was a name that no-one in Smorgg had heard of, not that anyone cared about him, he was a ruthless businessman who had made his fortune off selling Oil to nations over the world, he had also sold to families in Smorgg which is where he heard the name, Smorgg to him seemed like another venture, if he could tame this land then he would have a fortune that none could ignore, already he had the influence of several Families who pledged support to Romanov who promised order and wealth, soon more flocked to his cause bringing Smorgg to modern times.
