History

Having lived oblivious to the world around them for the past 2300 years, there is not much history of Spolotikopia to speak of, though there are some records of the origins of Spolotikopia.

Origins of Spolotikopia

Long ago, a group of people called the Spolotikos traveled north from Zuo, in search of a better life, free from the horrible wars they had been experiencing. Interestingly enough, the period of time in which they left Zuo is known. During the Second Mistaken War, they left Diguo, fearful for their lives. As the news came to Diguo that Tianguo was launching a massive force to conquer Diguo, the Spolotikos boarded ships and sailed to the northern mainland. The Spolotikos were a people much like the Amish. They did not believe in technology, and therefore they left Zuo, in search of a life free of the obstructions to their culture previously experienced in Zuo. Upon arriving at the mainland, the Spolotikos navigated around Tianguo, and settled north of it. They founded the first village in the south of the area. The name of that first village has since faded into obscurity, though it will be remembered as the beginning of Spolotikopia.

Pre-Spolotikopia

Once settled in the area, the Spolotikos began to spread out and settle villages all over the area. The Spolotikos did not emphasize expansion, but by the common era they had spread out all over the area known as Mongolia. The historical scene was one of many scattered towns and farms, each with a way of life. Some even began choosing leaders for themselves, sensing that they needed guidance to survive among the other Spolotikopian towns. By the common era, the attitude of the Spolotikos had all but disappeared, and the Spolotikopians forgot about their ancestors in Zuo, and about the outside world, or even outside towns in some cases. By now, towns began to fight each other, and people began raiding towns for food, so it was customary for most larger towns to have a small group of men trained to fend off invaders. No real warfare had begun though, until...

Ratos Kann

Ratos Kann was the leader of one of the villages in Western Spolotikopia, a town named Kolius. The town of Kolius happened to have one of the bigger defensive town militias than many other towns, and Kann happened to have a military mind. After leading Kolius for about twenty years, and after having traveled throughout the area now known as Spolotikopia, Kann decided upon his plan for the descendants of the Spolotikos. Kann would unite the peoples of Spolotikopia under one banner, the banner of Kann, by conquering all of the major towns in Spolotikopia. So he organized the Kolius militia, renaming it the Army of Kann. He trained them in the ways of attack, until he had the most trained army in all of the area. The Army of Kann was ready for conquest.
