Stephistan was a Game Moderator who, up to her retirement, was known in the General Forum for her opposition to the policies of George W. Bush. She deleted her nation before announcing her retirement on the 27th of November, 2004. She returned for a while as a retired moderator before leaving permanently after she got sick of playing the game.
It was widely assumed that the nation of Stephistan housed the main buildings of the United Nations; however, Stephistan contended they were actually located in its home region of Role Play University.
