The Community of Sunnians is a proud nation, completely devoid of capitalism in any form. Thus a Socialist state, who love to play the regional game, Tekkaball.
The Community of Sunnians is a small nation on the northwest coast of Haklon, famous among Haklonians for its love of the people's right of free speech. The 5 million citizens vote often, and feel very well represented in the House of People. The second house, the House of Right, is made of the first people to show up, truly giving them the voice. The Consular, Tiejaz is the President of the Houses, but has very little power beyond that of speaking to the Houses. Our University is less a school, and more of a rambling forum for students debating the merits of various civil and political rights. There are no wealthy, everyone chips in on work, and gets what they need and want to live.
Religion is a very big part of our government, we are a world benchmark in spiritual freedom. The government itself adopts no religion, the people come upon their own conclusion, and are allowed to preach to others, within limits of decency. We charge no tax, because we have no currency. Importing foreign currency is a criminal offense, but there is a major black market problem with Gambling.
Our volunteer police force keeps crime low, mainly through civil service and rehabilitation of criminals. Our national animal, the Fat Guy, is protected under The People's Order #315, which states: No person, unless absolutely certain there is potential for loss of life, limb or property, may intervene with the Homo Obesus or Fat Guy. Failure to comply will result in a minimum of one month in a federal institution, maximum of 3 years imprisonment.
