The first hydrogen bombs of the Helvannican civil war are dropped on Southern Swimia destroying the cities of Arcium, Estonia, and Sagetica and creating a nuclear wasteland in Southern Swimia. 2 hours later Swimia responded by dropping double the bombs and sending in a ground level invasion.
Nuclear war continues for 103 years and reduces the population of most of Helvannica to 5% with decreased fertility rates and higher rates of genetic defects. The Minovians fled the region.
