Introduction

History of Ta-Non-Ka

Ta-Non-Ka was founded as the Kingdom of Ka in AD 618 by Francis (I) Hedrick. In 1116, the Kingdom of Ka was over-run by barbarian invaders led by Rodenia (I) Jeskui. He ruled until his death in 1132. The country reverted to the previous ruling family until 1609, when the last direct descendant of Francis I died. The country was without a king until 1616, when a council of nobles elected Jeremiah (II) Gerald, formerly Duke of Je-Yun-Lo. In 1687, Jeremiah (III) Gerald united the Kingdom of Ka with the Kingdom of Ta, and it became the Empire of Ta-Non-Ka. A few years later, it was recreated as the Holy Empire of Ta-Non-Ka by Richard (IV) Gerald. Francis (VII) Gerald created a Parliament from the noble class in 1760. His son, Francis VIII, made Parliament a permanent national body in 1780. In 2004, the Holy Empire of Ta-Non-Ka officially allied itself into the region of Small Ineffectual Rulers under Holy Emperor Kilgen (II) Gerald.
