Yay basselopes!




I hate to rain on your parade, but antelope don't have antlers[1]. They have horns. Horns are an (almost always) non-branched permanent growth made out of keratin (similar to a human's fingernails or hair). Antlers are what are found on deer: they are a temporary structure made out of bone, grown out only during the mating season (after which they fall off).
