The East Pacific is the newest Pacific, not the North. --Myrth 01:27, 29 Nov 2004 (GMT)

Ah, who cares. We're still the biggest! :P ;) --Hersfold 20:36, 14 Jan 2005 (GMT)

Substantial changes were made today by anonymous User:68.153.42.6. Given the fractious nature of North Pacific politics, can we get confirmation from a registered NSwiki nation, please? A TNP native would be best. → Fris Θtalk 23:24, 15 Feb 2005 (GMT)

I reverted them as an attempt to withhold information. In addition, the s2 forum is definitely the original forum, not the s4 forum. See also The Underground. --Goobergunch|? 00:23, 16 Feb 2005 (GMT)

I was asked to post here and explain my reasoning for the edits made earlier today. I believe the current representation displays bias instead of simply information. I edited the government officials to show the current government of the region. I am the Delegate of The North Pacific and believed it to be only reasonable to have an accurate listing on the NSwiki page. I apologize for not letting the admin know prior to this. I would appreciate a revert back to my posting of the government of TNP. I do not believe it is necessary to list affiliations with other regions or that anything was "contributed" by TWP Intel. I also do not believe it necessary to have the old TNP government, which is nonexistant posted. Most regions do not post previous cabinets in their government officials section because it is irrelevant to the distribution of nonbiased information. Thank you. - The Minister 05:14, 16 Feb 2005 (GMT)

First of all, I'm not going to do a simple revert because your edit changed the Underground forum link at the bottom of the "Delegate History" section, which is simply untrue. There is merit to the argument that the old cabinet shouldn't be listed, but the other identities of the members of the current government should IMO be retained. --Goobergunch|? 00:50, 17 Feb 2005 (GMT)

I'd like to add my view that showing the old government is unnecessary and particularly set out as it is is suggestive that this is the current government.

As the former owner of the nation Pixiedance I regard much of the material currently on that page as misleading and biased. Hmm not sure why this doesn't show my user-name. Sorry!

I'd also like to add that showing the forums as TNP and NPD is misleading. The move to the current official forum of TNP was a legal move made by the government during my Delegacy.

NPD is a reference to the government structure of the region. If they must be shown in this form then they should more correctly read 'NPD forum' and 'Underground forum'. (unattributed posts by User:Pixiedance /modedit → Fris Θtalk)

I don't object to changing the titles of the forum links, especially in an NPOV fashion. --Goobergunch|? 00:50, 17 Feb 2005 (GMT)

Note that when I'm speaking to this article, I'm not speaking as the head WikiAdmin - I'm far too biased here for that. But I will be bold in keeping it updated. :) --Goobergunch|? 00:50, 17 Feb 2005 (GMT)

It is nice to see that NSwiki is more about pushing your agenda than dispersing information. - The Minister

Oh? What information am I suppressing? --Goobergunch|? 18:16, 18 Feb 2005 (GMT)
You may want to review your own Neutral Point of View Policy http://ns.goobergunch.net/wiki/index.php/NSwiki:NPOV - TM
I've read it. It's helpful if you detail specific claims, as I'm rather tired (see here if you're wondering why, our build season just ended at 5 PM today). Note also that this is still a wiki and the page hasn't been protected (indeed, it would be bad form if I protected it), so there's nothing preventing you from editing the article. --Goobergunch|? 05:01, 23 Feb 2005 (GMT)
Specifically, you knew that I was the one to change the information, then posted that you had reverted it back to the current, inaccurate and deliberately misleading format while posting that you are biased about it above. - TM

I have edited the page to reflect the current government. I have left the pseudonyms in place since the admin here seems to think them vitally important. On a personal note, the NPD has been in charge of TNP for over 5 weeks now, that is longer than most of the previous Delegates and governments in TNP and is not planning on going anywhere anytime soon. If you wish to be petty and continue to post the previous govt on here that is fine, but I will do everything I can to point out that this is truly a biased product with no real informative value. - TM

Also, I have noticed that it was brought up before but the continued posting of the underground forum, which is dead for all intents and purposes, as the North Pacific forum is misleading and inaccurate. The North Pacific forum is only s4.invisionfree.com/thenorthpacific - TM

The bias shown on this site is absurd. There are not two govts representing TNP at present. There is one govt supported by the Del and game mechanics and a group of nine protestors. - TM

Re-doing TNP wiki

Perhaps the North Pacific should redo its Wiki to be like that of the Pacific. Have a delegate history and a timeline of events, but give the different governments that form over time their own page. This way the history is preserved, and not erased.

Edits

Made edits to update the entry since the new delegate and the dissoving of the directorate

Addition of Der_Norf_Paicifc forum

Do we realy need this forum to be listed? It's a joke that arrose out of a conspiracy therory. Unless the community listed there has taken off like a rocket, it's not useful to outsiders wanting to know about our region.

United Insane People of AlHoma

The NPF

I resent the suggestion that the NPF is a joke. Just because we go about game play differently from other forums does not mean that we do not deserve the same consideration as other minority splinter groups within the NP, such as the NPG.

WE now have 13 hard-working registered members. Within days we drew up twice as many codices as the NPD/NPG managed in months. Over 100 posts have been made on our forum within a few days, as well as a count of 8000 we have transfered from other forums. We also have a judicial code, and have held our first trial. Three regions have also opened embassies with us.

Hardly the activities of a "joke"
