Talstadt is the Capital City and oldest permanent settlement in the Republic of Hochberg. Located on the edge of the Waldfluß river, the city of Talstadt is host to the Presidential Residence and the House of Representatives.
Whilst not the largest city in the Republic of Hochberg, Talstadt International Airport is located within the boundaries of the city and is the major airport on the island. The city is also conveniently located a short distance by rail, road or river, from the Port of Blauhafen.
2004 Election
Henrietta Rosenheim (DSP) was re-elected Oberbürgermeister (Mayor) of Talstadt in 2004.
