Tawar
Tawar is the only country in the region known to be populated by a species other than humans. The species real name is Menshens, however they rather like to call themselves under the name Tawarians. They lived unknown on the Devil Island for many years, until a fishing boat hailing from the fallen sultanate of Al Zarqawi met a Tawarian ship of the coast of the Devil Island. Their culture is very tightly linked to the baroque age and castles are still lying all over the place, and the clothing style is still styled like that of the baroque age. Little is actually known about the country, but it is certain that they are not a country run for the people. Once the government was made up by a high council consisting of the most important persons in Tawar, though it remains unclear if such a council does still exist.
