Geography
The Beatle is a small man-made archipelago of islands in the south pacific. The main island, called Lennon, is shaped like an Electric Guitar. The capital of Liverpool is located in the concave arch, and is the main port. The highway that runs down the thin neck of Lennon to Liverpool is known as Highway 909. The second island is box-shaped, and has a thin curving peninsula coming out of the top, coming within 500 meters of Lennon. This island is officially called "the Amp of Harrison", but is commonly referred to as Harrison. The second largest city, London, is located in the exact center of Harrison. The large highway that bisects Harrison is referred to as Abbey Road.
History
After becoming hugely sucessful in the late 1960's, the rock group the Beatles decided to buy an island. The Fab Four bought a small island in the South Pacific, near present-day Conservitopia, which they named 'Revolver' Each Beatle owned a fourth of the island, and the island was mostly rolling plains, with a lush forest in the fourth owned by Paul McCartney. This forest would be the cause of the Beatle's breakup. Within the forest lived the peaceful Electric Guitars. Paul was walking through his dense forest, when he discovered the existence of wild Electric Guitars, once thought to be man-made, and always thought completely domesticated.
Paul decided that this was quite remarkable, so he showed the wild Electric Guitars to his fellow band members. The wild Guitars were intrigued when they met George Harrison. Due to George's skill at guitar, the wild Guitars were soothed by his melodies. However, when John attempted to show the wild Guitars how he played, they went berserk. Many scientific theories have been made to explain this phenomenon, but the widest accepted theory is that the wild guitars thought that John was abusing his Guitar, and they tried to save John's Guitars from certain punishment. Many of Lennon's supporters disagree, saying that Paul instigated the wild guitars to aggravate Lennon.
The four Beatles fled the island in fear of their life after a bloody attack by the Guitars. The Guitars attacked George's home in an attempt to free his guitars. They were unsuccessful, and of the 300 attackers, only 10 survived. This bloody assault on the part of the Guitars is the reason that the government of the Beatle will not allow anyone near the forests where wild Guitars reside. In the 1980's there were some cases of smuggling GUitars out of the country.
After the break-up of the Beatles, Ringo Starr bought Paul's fourth of the island. In 1981, after John Lennon's murder, Julian Lennon gave Ringo John's fourth of the island. Ringo and George Harrison decided to start a country.
They instated a democratic republic on the small country, then still known as "Revolver". The government was ineffective, and was overthrown in a fantastic coup d' état of the submarine corps controlling the land-locked city. It is still debated exactly how this happened, but from 1982 to 1987 this government made Revolver asultanate, and a very effective power for its size. The Government expanded the Island into almost all of what the present day "Amp of Harrison" is.
The military ruler, Noelopan, ruled the small country in relative peace, until in 1985 "the Principality of the Beach Boys" attacked. The Principality of the Beach Boys was where the center of modern-day Lennon is. After a the "Thirty Singles War", where over thirty number-one hit singles were lost forever, while destroying over three hundred Beach Boy ships, the small country was defeated and annexed into the "Revolver." The military Government thought that the name "Revolver" was too short and weak, so they changed the country name to the "Sultanate of the Archipelago of Beatle-owned Oppressed islands."
Ringo and George, after Ringo's detox in 1989, realized what their country had fallen into, and they returned. The 50,000 man "Silver Hammer" corps immediately fell behind Ringo and George, soon followed by the Army. There was a three day Civil war, where the #1 Hit Singles switched sides no less than twelve times. After the conflict was resolved, and Ringo and George were in power, all of the men in the #1 Hit Singles corps were murdered. There was a mass retraining of the corps, and the military power of Revolver grew. Ringo and George were disgusted by the new name, and so the Islands became the "Ringo-Harrison Sultanate". Ringo and George became sultans, but not wanting to participate in polygamy, the name 'sultan' became a title and nothing more. They also named the main island, now Harrison, "Revolver" and the small island "Lennon."
From 1985 to 1990, the Ringo-Harrison Sultanate expanded Lennon's borders to all of present-day Lennon. The idea of a guitar-shaped island was George's idea, and the agreement between George and Ringo was to give Ringo the smaller, box-shaped island and George the larger, guitar-shaped island. The capital City of Liverpool was founded in 1986, and was the base of all government operation by 1987.
The period between 1989 and 2001 was a period of Economic and Civil Rights explosion. Unfortunately, during this time period, the government became an Orwellian Father-knows best state. Ringo did not like the direction the country was taking, but he saw that it was the only feasible way that the country could move. Ringo caused the Civil Rights explosion to ease the suffering of the people.
In 2001, when George Harrison died, Ringo renamed the Country to "The Beatle." He also changed the name of the original Island from 'Revolver' to 'the Amp of Harrison,' in memory of his friend. He also had the small peninsula built, dubbing it 'Blue Jay Way'. Ringo also disbanded the entire army in 2003, to improve various things within the country. Fortunately, they have an alliance with the militaristic nation HHGTTG
There are rumors that after Ringo's resignation from office, Julian Lennon will be appointed as "sultan".
Military
The Beatle does not have a large military, but what it does have is able to defeat any of the nearby powers.
The Beatle's Navy:
- An über elite submarine force. The force is called "the #1 Hit Singles" all of the submarine's are named after #1 hit singles released by the Beatles. The current class is the "Imagine." Most recently Christened was the "Penny Lane", a full size nuclear submarine with max depth of 1000 meters. It has 2 torpedo tubes, both on the front. All of the subs are small, with a crew of jsut 35. the submarines are designed to be very fast, and silent.
- A small Aircraft carrier force, composed of five ships, each named after a Beatle, and George Martin.
The Beatle's Air Force:
- 250 sea-borne Chengdu J-10d multi-purpose aircraft; a Chengdu J-10 designed specially to be used on an Aircraft Carrier.
- 10 B-1d "Lancinators" A modified B-1 Bomber, much faster and with a shorter take-off and landing area.
- 100 F-15E land-based fighters. Used only to defend The Beatle from Hostile Attacks.
The Beatle's Army:
- 2 million man voluntary ground troops. The standard weapon kit:
- L85A2 Assault Rifle (Specially modified L85A1, more durable and reliable.)

The Silver Hammer corps is Ringo's personal guard.
