The Cinema is a region founded on the 6th May 2007. As the name suggests it is movie-themed. Although a nation isn't required to have any cinematic name, motto or even region activity.
History
The region was founded by the nation of Empire Magazine. The successor to the former nation of Wallbank, that ceased to exist. Wallbank founded the region of Archipelago, which peaked at roughly 40 member nations and boasted a forum to discuss future issues. Archipelago has now declined to less than 20 nations, and the forum became inactive. The Cinema was then created as the leader of Wallbank returned under a new name - Empire Magazine - named after the UK film publication. Shortly after foundation, Loose chicks joined as the region delegate.
