The Crooked Beat In Mainstream NS
The Crooked Beat is one of relatively few free African nations, and possesses a respectable population of almost 1.5 billion people. Civil rights and political freedoms are both extremely good, and the government pays utmost attention to human rights.
The Crooked Economy is, thanks to near-constant warfare with the Afrikaaner population in the north of the country, in the pits, although a stable shipbuilding industry has established itself along with a somewhat less firmly-entrenched manufacturing sector. Agriculture is by far the most important economic activity, although most is done at a subsistance level.
