The Equatorial Alliance was founded on April 13, 2007 by then-Grand Duke Zeckoslav (now Regional Emperor) of Frenular Delta. Once a Regional Forum was established on April 30, the region set upon debating and establishing a regional government and Constitution. The Constitution of The Equatorial Aliance won majority approval of the nations when put to vote, and was ratified by the Council of Nine on June 4 2007.

Constitutional Organisation

Founder

His Royal Majesty Regional Emperor Zeckoslav of The Grand Duchy of Frenular Delta is Founder of The Equatorial Alliance and is its Constitutional Monarch.

Our Constitutional Monarch is our regional founder, who is a cherished part of our historical and cultural identity, and who functions primarily as a ceremonial figurehead monarch separate from our executive, legislative, and judicial branches of government. As Regional Emperor, he may be called upon by the government to eject or ban nations from the region, and may exercise absolute powers only in times of emergency.

Government

First Minister

The First Minister is the Head of the Executive Branch. He appoints the Chief of Defense, Foreign Ambassador and the Chief of Recruitment. Current officeholder is King Andronicus I

Chief of defense

Leads the EAAF. Current officeholder is Habighorst.

Head of Ambassadors

Liable for the relationships to other Regions. Current officeholder is Jezzer05.

Chief of Recruitment

Recruits new members. Currently not assigned.

UN delegate

UN delegate of the Alliance. The nation with the most endorsements holds this position. Current officeholder is The Kingdom of Great Revelation

Council of Nine

The Council of Nine is the legislature of the Alliance. It is elected every three months by all member Nations. The current members are (Names in Italic are forum names):

High Court

The High Court is the only, hence the supreme court of the Equatorial Alliance. It is leaded by the primary judge, current officeholder is Borovje, and an four additional judges appointed by him pending final approval of the Council of Nine.

Welcome to the Apathetic Anarchist Elysium, Where we don't really care what you do, but we're glad to support you doing it, if it requires no extra effort on our part. So, go crazy, f*** s*** up if you want, it's no biggie, cause like you can do whatever you want man, and it's all cool. If you want to claim to be a "Member" that's cool, if you just want to hang out and do whatever that's cool too. Equatorial Homeland Union

Chairman: Hircine, founder of the party.

Goals:

• We believe in a strong military force, not just as a tool for defense, but as an opportunity to strike to protect our freedoms. This will allow us to not only defend our lands, but to be adequately prepared for any conflict that may arise.
• To that end, we believe that the Equatorial Alliance has the right to a pre-emptive strike to deter hostile intent and to gain a tactical advantage in an Unavoidable War
• We realize that a nation's sovereignty must and has to be respected, but we also realize that the government, elected by the people, must be afforded some leeway to exercise their powers for the benefit of the region.
• With respect to that, we believe that in certain situations, the government may have to take some difficult measures to safeguard the security of the region, and its member nations.
• We support private enterprising for the regional economy, and we will seek to reduce tax burdens on nations in the Equatorial Alliance (if taxes are imposed) and for members of the United Nations, for the sake of a stronger regional economy.

The Confederated Conservative Party

This party was founded by Ironic Circumstances June 1, 2007. Because he is the only member of his party, it doesn't actually exist.

The Democratic Socialist Party

This party was founded by ROFLOLMAO LAND June 1, 2007. Because he is the only member of his party, it doesn't actually exist.

The Reform Party

This party was founded May 23, 2007 by The Great and Mighty Eli., who left the party about a week later. After its chairman Manassasland left the party in June 15, the party is determining whether to continue.

1. The Reform Party believes in Freedom for all.
2. The Reform Party believes less government is better government.
3. The Reform Party believes its better that a guilty person goes free than an innocent person spend one hour behind bars.
4. The Reform Party believes in equal choice rather than forced equality.
5. The Reform Party believes in changing our government, not in overthrowing our government.
6. The Reform Party believes in a Nation States right for Sovereignty. Regional Government should not meddle in the affairs of it’s Nation States, but only defend the Nation States right to make their own policies and laws.
7. The Reform Party believes in a system of checks and balances. No member of Government should be immune from the law.
8. The Reform Party believes in change through diplomacy, not through force.
9. The Reform Party believes war should only be waged in defense, not through aggression.
