The FCSTO
The Federal Commonwealth Society Treaty Organisation, more commonly known as The FCSTO, was founded by the Prime Minister & Founder of the Federal Commonwealth Society, Great Britain---. His dream was to create an Organisation based around democracy for regions who wished to join.
Regions such as the British Commonwealth, British Overseas Territory, AFCS, Empire of Great Britain were created by Great Britain--- first off to start the FCSTO. Later regions created, Torino and Limerick, were part of the fold, however, Torino was evicted by The Planet Federation Administration of 2006.

The FCSTO Political System
The FCSTO is a semi-federalist organisation made up of several regions. Currently, after Eagmont's constitutional reform, there is a Secretary-General heading the organisation, with the Secretary of State, Secretary of Defence, Secretary of Immigration, Secretary of Education all being part of the cabinet, including the Speaker of the Senate. The Legislative chamber of the FCSTO is called the Senate, members from each member-region are elected to the Senate as often as each region desires. The number of Senators from each region is determined by the population of each region.
Current Secretary-General Eagmont is proposing major consitutional changes inlight of the changing political and populative scope of the FCSTO and its protectorates. Proposals of Senate Quorums, new Secretaries and Select Committees have so far been past on to the Senate to decide.

The Cabinet
The Cabinet is made up of between 4 and 10 members at a time, selected by the Secretary General and processed by the Senate. The Cabinet is elected to do the duties of the Secretary-General.

Previous FCSTO Administrations
The Moonseed Administration
Moonseed has taken over the full role of Secretary-General and appointed new Associate Justices to the Supreme Court, and new cabinet members (The Good & Evil and baron murat, confirmed just after midnight, UK time (BST) on the morning of 24th September; and Eagmont), and a new Speaker (Shinrita). Currently it is expected that Moonseed will continue in these duties until the next General Election on 18th November 2006.
Moonseed ended his duties on the 30th of November 2006, and has resigned as a Senator and a member.
The Planet Federation Administration
On March 7 2006, The Planet Federation claimed a decisive win (being the only candidate) in the election for Prime Minister. Mattvia was the prime candidate for the Deputy Prime Ministerialship, and Eagmont the Foreign Minister. As it turns out, The Planet Federation went for New rather than experience, and chose Eagmont as the DPM, and Mattvia as the Foreign Minister.
In mid April, The Deputy Prime Minister Eagmont defected from the FCSTO and the Federal Commonwealth Society to the region of Great Britain and Ireland, only to return months later after Great Britain--- left (this was mostly why Eagmont left in the first place).
In mid July, the Planet Federation called the election after the new constitution was nearly adopted. Eagmont & The Planet Federation were the two candidates, and the Planet Federation won 6 more votes than Eagmont after a record 68 member vote from the people. The new constitution ("FCSTO Doctrine") was passed shortly after the elections concluded. Much of TPF's second term was concerned by debate over the future of the FCSTO, and with relations with the region Torino, with whom a treaty was eventually reached.
The Planet Federation (TPF) administration came to an abrupt end early in September 2006 when he announced his resignation and turning over his duties to the Secretary of State, Moonseed. Later he attempted to rescind his resignation, but doubts arose as to whether the TPF now posting in the forums was the 'real' TPF. A week after that, a third party made unproven allegations against the character of TPF, and TPF has not been seen since a few days afterwards.
As at the current date (23rd Nov 2006) elections for Secretary general are underway with two candidates; Eagmont and Contradictory Views.
